Appts. for in-situ cleaning of ground-water in a borehole - has rotating hollow shaft extending below water surface in sealed liner pipe and fitted with aeration nozzles and propeller element
The appts. for cleaning contaminated ground water in a borehole has a rotating hollow shaft which is installed below the water surface in a liner pipe, and which is provided with air inlet openings and is fitted with a propeller. Pref. the liner pipe is sealed to the borehole and is provided with a water outlet filter in its upper part, and in this way the water inlet and outlet depths are controlled. The water is cleaned by an in-situ stripping process, and an aeration of the water via air outlet nozzles is provided. Guide vanes are used to optimise the water flow pattern. An air/water separator is included at the outlet filter and serves also to prevent discolouring of the water. Air from this separator is removed via a filter unit. USE/ADVANTAGE - For in-situ cleaning of ground water. Appts. has low energy consumption and a wide range of applications.
