Topical medicaments contain at least one drug suitable for local dermatological treatment and glycerol trinitrate (GTN) or a conjugate of glycerol mononitrate (GMN) or glycerol dinitrate (GDN) with a drug. Also claimed is the use of GTN or a GMN-drug or GDN-drug conjugate as a penetration enhancer in topical medicaments. USE/ADVANTAGE - The medicaments penetrate deep into the skin, providing effective treatment of dermatological disorders, e.g. psoriasis and acne.
