The valve comprises two stop plates (15,16) which are held in the closed position by two wedge-shaped pieces (4) attached to a spindle (7). The wedges are separated by a free floating ball (8). The wedge mechanism and upper chamber (24) are sealed from the outer area by bellows (23). The spindle is sealed by a second bellows (21) which joins the first bellows, but is separated from the upper chamber. USE/ADVANTAGE - For so called wedge-in-wedge slide valves,with protection from dirt and sediments for good efficiency.
