The device carries out electric tests on the on-board supply network and the loads connected to it. The device includes an auxiliary connector, connectable to a separate energy source (1),such as a battery. The auxiliary connector is in the form of an adaptor (2) which can be attached to the portable outside energy source (1) and electrically connected to its terminals. The adaptor (2) has connector cables (5K,6K) for releasable electric connection with the on-board network to supply the external power to that network.
