A flotation cell has an injector (1) with a perforated screen (2) which sucks air and delivers a substance to a suspension. The perforations (3) within the screen (2), or the jets in a jet plate (2') pipe section are positioned at a distance of at least 0.1 times that of the individual perforation diameter after which they located, and are arranged vertically with respect to the screen (2) and funnel into a mixing pipe section (6'). USE/ADVANTAGE - The flotation device is equipped with an injector which can operate at high throughput and provide adequate supplies of air bubbles.
