Device for facilitating the manual operations of counting, checking and packing, on average quantities of coins. The invention relates to a device making it possible (by comparing measurements, specific to each unit created in respect of the invention, with the diameter and the thickness, specific to each type of coin) to determine two distinct and defined quantities of coins (without having to count them) and their membership of the desired type (by visual checking), and to hold the coins in position while they are packed into a roll. It consists of as many monobloc plastic units as types of coins which may exist: units having the shape of a hollow tube open at (R) and (P); solid, cylindrical and possessing a spherical metallic mass (L') at (L) (ensuring better balance of the unit). The dimensions (aR), (aP), (dE), (dI), (dL'), (gR) and (gP) are calculated according to formulae defined as a function of the specific dimensions of each type of coin; the dimensions (e) and (gL) all being identical for each unit.
