The invention concerning improvements relates to a puppet. According to the invention, it consists of a core made from natural or synthetic feathers or hairs and of a head which are connected by means of at least two wires (13) and (14) to a support (10). The limbs (5) and (6) which are weighted (ballasted) at the points (8) and (9) are fastened to the core via the point (7). The puppet is animated by the comical swinging (balancing) of the limbs, as well as the dandling (swinging) of the head (1) and of the tail (3) which are created by the wires (13) and (14) under the influence of the puppeteer (its manipulator).
