Process for making a backing paper nonadhesive. The process according to the invention is noteworthy in that it consists in: a) coating the backing paper (P) at least partly with a glazing and filling product (L); b) drying the support thus coated; c) coating the coated and dried support with a nonadhesive substance (S). According to an alternative form the said process consists in treating only some regions of the backing paper and/or treating differently at least two regions of the backing paper (P) by varying the quantities of the glazing product and/or of the nonadhesive substance. The invention also relates to the backing papers thus treated and all their applications, especially for producing an insurance certificate provided with a removable certificate and an adhesively bonded transparent label.
