Mfr. of a sealing joint comprising the injection overmoulding of one part onto another, precut, and previously placed in a mould uses a mould with an internal rib. The rib comes into pressure contact with the first piece at the point of the joint plane between the two materials and defines a sepn. channel on the finished part. Also claimed is use with overmoulding of materials with different physical or aesthetic properties. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used to give a definitive surface separation between overmoulding of different materials without their intermingling.
