VIBRATION-PROOF SUPPORT FOR OUTER FAN COVER OF ELECTRIC ROTATING MACHINE

PURPOSE: To allow easy fixing of a vibration-proof block to an outer fan cover by composing a tubular part, defined by the flange parts on the opposite sides coupled in C-shape, of an elastic member and inserting an end part of the outer fan cover into the tubular part and then securing the tubular part to the outer case of the motor by means of screws. ;CONSTITUTION: Flange parts 18 on the opposite sides composed of an elastic member, e.g. rubber, are coupled into a C-shaped part 19 which forms a tubular part 17 of a vibration-proof block 16. Tip part 1a of an outer fan cover 1 is then inserted into the tubular part 17. A screw 2 is inserted into a fixing hole 1b made in the outer fan cover 1 and then the screw 2 driven into the outer case 4 of the motor through a washer 3 thus securing the vibration-proof block 16.
