PURPOSE: To provide electrical connection to the charge plate of an ink jet print head in which joints per inch can exceeds 100 while enhancing reliability and productivity. ;CONSTITUTION: The charge plate 10 comprises an insulation substrate 12 on which conductive lead wires 14 and charge electrodes 16 are jointed. A plurality of conductive stripes 20 are supported by an insulating supporting layer 18 while being aligned with the lead wires 14 of the charge plate 10. One stripe 22 of anisotropic conductive material is arranged between the conductive stripe 20 and the lead wire 14. When the anisotropic conductive material is compressed by tightening the conductive material and the charge plate, for example, the conductor in the material comes into electrical contact with the counterpart conductor 14 and the conductive stripe 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
