ICE NUCLEUS-FORMING BACTERIUM, CULTURE THEREOF, ICE NUCLEUS-FORMING MATERIAL CONTAINING THE SAME BACTERIUM AND ITS USE

PURPOSE: To provide a new ice nucleus-forming bacterium not exhibiting plant pathogenicity and growing at a high rate, an ice nucleus-forming material containing this new ice nucleus-forming bacterium and a method for culturing this new ice nucleusforming bacterium. ;CONSTITUTION: This ice nucleus-forming bacterium contains a new strain Xanthomonas campestris INXC-1 (FERM BP-4191) and the ice nucleus-forming material contains the ice nucleus-forming bacterium. The culture method comprises culturing the ice nucleus-forming cell in a lactic acid-containing medium.
