SPECIAL EFFECT ADDITION SYSTEM IN MUSE SIGNAL RECORDING AND REPRODUCING DEVICE AND SPECIAL EFFECT ADDITION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To record a timing for the special effect optionally by a photographer in the recording state and to facilitate the edit in the reproduction state by reproducing a control signal recorded on a specific order line of a MUSE signal and adding a special effect signal to an output of a MUSE decoder based on the control signal. CONSTITUTION:A control signal generating circuit 22 generates a control signal used to identify a special effect by an external command. The control signal is inserted to a 564-th line of a MUSE signal by a synthesizer circuit 21. Then a reproduced output of a MUSE camcorder 2 is fed to a MUSE processing circuit 31 of a MUSE decoder 3 via a recording switch 23 in the reproduction state. The MUSE processing circuit 31 decodes a MUSE signal to output a High Vision video signal and it is fed to a special effect processing circuit 32. Furthermore, one of the reproduction outputs is fed to a control signal processing section 33, in which the control signal is decoded and the control signal controls the special effect processing circuit 32 to select a special effect signal corresponding to the control signal and it is added to the video signal.
