PURPOSE: To allow even the operator unskillful to the operation of the device such as start or end timing of sampling of experiment data to easily and accurately operate by implementing the selection of input conditions and the setting of measurement condition on a display means. ;CONSTITUTION: When the experiment mode is selected, a CPU 11 reads data for read condition setting menu from an I/F setting menu storage circuit 24 and displays the data onto a CRT 16. When, e.g. the A/D setting is selected, the CPU 11 reads the 1st setting menu data of an A/D conversion card and displays the data on the CRT 16. When the input condition of the A/D conversion card is selected, a 2nd setting menu is displayed on the CRT 16 and a measurement item is selected. Then the read condition and the measurement method are displayed on the CRT 16 with a touch panel 12 provided thereto, the operator touches the touch panel 12 in each menu to select a desired item from plural selection items.
