PURPOSE: To perform the stabilization, strengthening and water stop of rock bed, ground or an artificial structure by using a grout comprising an aqueous sodium silicate solution, a polyisocyanate and an inorganic filler and having a high binding strength and excellent stabilization, strengthening, curability, durability, pouring workability, safety and economic profitability. ;CONSTITUTION: This grout composition comprises an aqueous sodium silicate solution, a polyisocyanate and an inorganic filler. Especially from the viewpoints of safety, hygienics and cost, it is desirable to use polymethylene polyphenyl isocyanate of a degree of modification with polyol of 3% or above, desirably 3-10%, as the polyisocyanate. When this composition is poured into ground, the bound ground can exhibit a compressive strength of 100kgf/cm² or above. A desirable example of the inorganic filler is a fine inorganic powder of a maximum particle diameter of 50μm or below and a mean particle diameter of 10μm or below.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
