PURPOSE: To provide a negative electrifying toner composition high in resin compatibility and having improved electrifying performance by using a diammonium or a triammonium and the salt of anion exhibiting electric charge control property by being bonded with the cation as an electric charge control agent. CONSTITUTION: The negative electrifying toner composition consists of a binder resin, the charge control agent and a coloring material. As the binder resin, a polystyrene, an acrylic resin, a polyvinyl chloride, a polyvinyl acetate, an epoxy resin, an alkyd resin, a polyethylene, a phenol resin, a polyester resin, a xylene resin, a polyamide resin and the like are used. As the charge control agent, a salt containing the diammonium or the triammonium expressed by formula I or formula II (in the formulas, X expresses an anion of the salt having charge control property).
