PURPOSE: To improve the superconductivity of an oxide superconductor thin-film formed on a surface, and to enhance a function as a Josephson element by growing the oxide superconductor thin-film onto a stepped section in an epitaxial warmer. ;CONSTITUTION: When an oxide superconductor thin-film 15 is grown on a dielectric substrate 13, to which stepped sections having various height are formed, difference appears in superconductive electrical characteristics by the relationship of the height of the stepped sections and film thickness. When the height of the stepped section as shown in a stepped bonding section 17 is smaller than film thickness first, the superconductor thin-film 15 displays a strong bond and is not formed in a Josephson junction. When the height of the stepped section and film thickness shown in a stepped bonding section 18 are formed in the same extent second, a grain boundary resulting the difference of crystalline structure is formed at the stepped section of the superconductor thin-film 15, the superconductivity of the section is weakened, and the Josephson junction is formed.
