The invention relates to polymers the viscosity of which increases in solution, or significantly stabilizes with temperature.;These polymers contain a hydrosoluble skeleton incorporating segments or carrying side chains which have a low solubility temperature ("LCST" property (Lower Critical Solution Temperature)).;Uses in the chemical industry and the oil industry, in particular for oil or geothermal bore hole cementation, fracturing and industrial cleaning.
