A coupling device with variable coupling factor for coupling a coaxial feed line (1) with a resonant cavity (2) to which is connected a beam tube (4) positioned parallel to a beam axis (3) and wherein a resonant electromagnetic field with a resonance wavelength can be produced. The coupling device comprises a coupling line (5) coaxially connectable to the beam tube (4), wherein a coupling rod (9) is slidable along a coupling axis (8), which for connect the supply line (1) to the coupling line (5) a coaxial T-piece (11) broadband comprising three arms (12, 13, 14), the length of each corresponding approximately to a multiple odd one-quarter of the resonance wavelength. The coupling device is characterized by a bandwidth particularly high with respect to the wavelength or frequency of the transmitted high-frequency electromagnetic signals. This device allows the use of power supply lines (1) coaxial and makes the use of superfluous waveguides. Its use is particularly indicated in accelerators for ion radiation or elementary particles electrically charged. This device also particularly suitable for co-application with the resonators (2) superconducting.
