The invention relates to liquid detergent compositions for hard surfaces containing cationic detergent surfactants and amphoteric ion based and a monoethanolamine and / or other specific beta-aminoalkanols as solvents and / or buffers to mitigate the formation of spots and films and improve cleaning. Some formulas do not contain large amounts of adjuvants and are designed for general cleaning, including cleaning glass. Other formulas are concentrated and contain chelating agents (detergent builders) to improve the stability of more dilute compositions prepared from concentrated compositions. Some formulas, diluted and concentrated, have disinfectant properties.
