A non-infectious insect virus with altered genetic elements is described, in which the function is restored by gene supplementation to produce the virus in the form of insect infection again.;Heterologous gene insertion into the virus genome has also been described, allowing insect control or fertilizers to also be produced by the virus for improved biological insecticidal effects and genetic stability of the desired trait.
