The wagon (10) is supported by the springs against its bogie (12). To each logic are allocated several take up cylinders (20, 22), working in opposition. They are coupled each to a hydromechanical, or hydropneumatic spring (48, 50) and to a drive actuating cylinder assembly (46) via a feed line (38, 40). The assembly can adjust controlled feed or discharge of a flow medium to or from the respective spring for the variation of the wagon centring force. Pref the springs have a progressive force-path characteristic. USE/ADVANTAGE - For tramways, city communication and express trains, with increased passenger comfort and safety.
