The cable saw has a cutting element in the form of a cable which is looped through the slit being cut and a hole at the bottom of the intended slit. It is driven by a motor in a frame which also has a guide pulley that can be adjusted in vertical, horizontal and inclined directions. The frame has wheels so that it can move on the ground with respect to the wall. The motor driving the saw cable moves on a carriage within the frame.
