The control current arrangement has magnet systems arranged in pairs and diametrically opposite the shaft axis on two crossing radial axes. The arrangement contains sensors for detecting the actual position of the geometric rotor axis, at least one source of the desired position value, at least one processor for determining the control current values and an amplifier for the control values. The required value source is a program memory with a series of individual demand values related to the rotation angle. The demand value program contains the parameters of the path of the geometric axis about the path of the actual gravitational rotor axis. A demand value generator is coupled to a rotation angle sensor on the rotor shaft. USE/ADVANTAGE - For rotor with controlled geometric axis which can be transversely displaced. Reduced drive system cost whilst achieving quiet high running speed.
