A support beam (2) is pivotable around an axis (1) and to which is fitted a balance beam (4) rotatable around its own axis (3). A spring (F1) forces the support beam firstly into a rest position determined by a left-side stop. On the balance beam on one side the hose with its coupling part (5) is suspended, the wt. of which is counterbalanced on the other side of the beam by a counterweight (6). The balance beam is held in a rest position by two springs (F2,F3) which are weaker than the first spring (F1). By adjustment of these springs the rest position of the balance beam and the starting height of the hose-side coupling part is altered and adjusted. USE/ADVANTAGE - To rationalise the filling cycle of a tanker vehicle, absolving the driver from having to handle physically the hose.
