The drainage ditch body fitted in the ground has a cover secured by a fastener. The latter has a ditch body mounted clamping spring, and a cover fitted lug with a thickened, inserting front end. The spring and lug are so shaped that the lug is insertable into the spring orthogonally to the cover plane. The lug enters an aperture in the clamping spring under its elastic deformation and in there securely held.
