The outdoor sensor (1) converts the temp. value into an electrical resistance which is digitised (2) and stored (3) together with a number of earlier measurements. An average value is obtd. Two variants of the memory management are disclosed involving either linear interpolation over 24 hours or cyclic overwriting with fresh data. ADVANTAGE - Control is better adapted to atmospheric conditions for night-storage heating systems and others having considerable inertia.
