Integrated circuit output driver for suppressing noise generation, e.g. in DRAM - has current increase rate controller responding to voltage at predefined node in semiconductor substrate
The output driver circuit has a data interface connector with a semiconducting substrate, a predefined node (42t) formed in the substrate, a current generation device formed in the substrate and a current rise controller (45) n the substrate. The current generation device responds to an applied signal defining the output data by generating an output current via the data interface connector. The current rise controller responds to a potential at the defined node by controlling the rate of increase of the output current. USE/ADVANTAGE - For improved semiconducting circuit for burn-in testing. Simple step introduced into manufacturing process prevents generation of noise.
