A collapsible holder for packaging, transporting and displaying bottles. The holder includes two side panels (1, 2) and one or more elongated apertures or windows (14) provided in at least one (1) of said panels. Said panels (1, 2) are made of rigid and flexible material and their lower portions are shaped so that they are engageable with a correspondingly shaped longitudinal edge of a rigid base (4) supporting the bottles and having, when assembled with said panels, a receiving surface which is slightly smaller than the bottom diameter of said bottles. Said panels (1, 2) further comprise an upper opening (12) defining a carrying handle and extending parallel to the upper panel edges. The upper portions of said panels may be bent towards one another and joined together by at least one connecting member (3).
