PURPOSE:To make the flow rate and the pressure of purified air constant by previously increasing the flow rate of the inlet of an adsorption tower in accordance with the changeover time of the adsorption tower before the adsorption tower is shifted to a pressurizing process. CONSTITUTION:An air compressor 1 is subjected to loading operation by previously operating the inlet guide vane 8 of the air compressor 1 with a control device 9 before a fixed time when a pressure swing adsorption type (PSA) adsorption tower 2 is shifted to a pressurizing process at a time for finishing a regenerating process thereof.
