PURPOSE:To obtain directly a sheet-like preliminary molding from a scraped molding material by providing sheet-making rolls which rotate each other in the opposite directions and has a slower rotating speed than that of impregnation rolls at the lowest end of scrapers of a scraper-type continuously mixing apparatus wherein a fibrous reinforcing material and a thermosetting resin paste are mixed. CONSTITUTION:A cut fibrous reinforcing material is continuously fed and mixed on a thermosetting resin paste with which impregnation rolls 1 and 1' are uniformly coated by means of doctor parts 2 and 2'. The mixture is then scraped by means of scrapers 6 and 6' and guided to a pair of sheet-making rolls 8 and 8' positioned at the lowest end of the scrapers 6 and 6'. The peripheral speed of the sheet-making rolls 8 and 8' is pref. 1/2-1/50 of the peripheral speed of the impregnation rolls 1 and 1'. In addition, it is pref. that films 9 and 9' e.g. polyethylene films are fed on the surfaces of the sheet-making rolls 8 and 8' and a molding material made into a sheet-like shape is pinched. In addition, instead of the sheet-like belts 8 and 8', a conveyer belt may be used.
