摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain a compsn. with high impact strength, tensile strength and high heat distortion temp. by compounding a polyphenylene ether compsn. capped with a specified dicarboxylate. ;CONSTITUTION: A compsn. compounded with a polyphenylene ether compsn. capped with a dicarboxylate prepd. by melt compounding a polyamide, a polyphenylene ether and trimellitic acid salicylate of formula I under vacuum is provided. In the formula, R¹ is a 1-6C alkyl or 6-10C arom. hydrocarbon group; Q¹ is a halogen, a prim. or sec. alkyl, phenyl, a haloalkyl, an aminoalkyl, a hydrocarbon oxy group or a halohydrocarbon oxy group with a structure separating a halogen atom and an oxygen atom with at least two carbon atoms; Q² is H, a halogen, a prim. or sec. alkyl, phenyl, a haloalkyl, a hydrocarbon oxy or the halohydrocarbon oxy group defined on Q¹.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO
