Locking and unlocking operation apparatus for an automobile door lock

PURPOSE:To miniaturize as locking and unlocking controlling device by fixing an actuator to a door lock so that an output lever thereof makes rotation on the same plane as that of a locking and unlocking lever provided on the door lock. CONSTITUTION:A motor is energized in such a state that a locking and unlocking lever 4 is in a locking position to make an output lever 14 of an actuator 10 pivot in a counter-clockwise direction. After one operation section 14a of the output lever 14 is entered into an engagement groove 7 of the locking and unlocking lever 4, it is engaged with one side edge of the engagement groove 7 to move the lever 4 to an unlocking position. In addition, when the output lever 14 pivots, the operation section 14a is unloaded from the interlocking groove 7, the other operation section 14b is brought into contact with one stopper 6a to stop the pivoting of the lever 14, and power to the motor is disconnected. When a locking and unlocking knob is operated to the unlocking position manually, the operation section 14b rotates in a counter-clockwise direction along the other stopper 6b, and it reaches a position adjacent to the engagement groove 7.
