PURPOSE: To provide a sheet holder of a wrapping device for container mouths, which can smoothly deliver sheets against the wrapping device of the container mouth and give a precise actuation of segments to hold the sheets and further, correspond to a varied size of the sheets. ;CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a cutting mechanism to cut a thermoplastic sheet belt, a vertical axis rotary drum 16 for delivery sucking and holding the sheets 41, and a plurality of segments 43 to suck and hold a plurality of sheets, rotatably supported at respective wrapping heads 36 to wrap the sheet on the container 40 mouth. In the delivery area of the sheets the sucking and holding face of the segments is kept vertical to deliver them and in the area for wrapping work of the sheets at the container mouths, the sucking and holding face of the segments is turned to the horizontal condition to insert the container mouth into the aperture 54 for the wrapping work.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
