PURPOSE:To prevent the precipitant delivery of subsequent lead frames to the next process by a method wherein a lead frame positioned at the second from the front is pushed backward by a second roller rotating in the direction reverse to the direction of delivery of a first roller. CONSTITUTION:Lead frames 1 are delivered sequentially by a delivering mechanism 2, in a state wherein they are erected in the direction of length and laid on the top of each other. A first roller 6 brings down forcibly a lead frame 1' positioned in the forefront, in the direction of conveyance by its rotation, so that the lead frame is delivered to a conveyance route 5. A second roller 7 operates so as to bring down a lead frame 1'' positioned at the second from the front, in the direction reverse to the direction of delivery by its rotation, and thus the lead frame is pushed backward. By this method, the precipitant delivery of the lead frame 1'' and the lead frames 1 positioned behind it to the conveyance route 5 can be prevented.
