PURPOSE: To efficiently carry out the exchange of sliver during spinning operation by ending each end of plural full bobbins picked out from a reserve rail to respective sliver in spinning and exchanging a full bobbin with a scantily wound bobbin. ;CONSTITUTION: When a bobbin 1c suspended from a creel becomes a scantily wound state and the other bobbin 1b becomes a half-wound state, the scantily wound bobbin 1c is positioned outward and plural full bobbins 1a are lowered by disengaging from a bobbin hanger 24 of a reserve rail 15 by a lifting head 52. The sliver end is picked out from each full bobbin 1a by lifting a plurality of picking nozzles 62, the sliver end is held with a sliver ending head 60 and ended to a sliver spun from the scantily wound bobbin 1c, the sliver from the scantily wound bobbin is cut and the full bobbin 1a is exchanged with the scantily wound bobbin 1c in such a manner as to suspend the full bobbin 1a from the creel and suspend the scantily wound bobbin 1c from the reserve rail 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
