PURPOSE:To smoothly carry out exchange of slivers, by preparing hangers for hanging full bobbins and empty hangers under a spare rail, removing small package bobbins from a creel, mounting the detached bobbins to the empty hangers and mounting the full bobbins in the creel. CONSTITUTION:In exchanging full bobbins 1 supplied by a spare rail 13 in a hanging state for both sliver bobbins 2F and 2B which were mounted in a creel 11 when the sliver bobbins become empty or the form of small packages, empty hangers in addition to hangers 14 for hanging the full bobbins 1 are supplied to a spare rail 13 and the small package (empty) bobbins are initially removed from the creel and mounted to the empty hangers of the spare rail. The full bobbins 1 are then removed from the hangers of the spare rail 13 and mounted in the creel.
