RAIN QUANTITY DATA COLLECTING/TRANSMITTING METHOD FOR ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION AND DEVICE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To prevent an accident by using a system reporting only when the rain quantity reaches a restriction value. CONSTITUTION:A rain gauge 1 converts the information of the observed rain quantity into an electric signal and sends it to a rain quantity counter 2. The rain quantity counter 2 digitizes and integrates the rain quantity. A rain quantity monitoring function section 3 obtains the rain quantity value in a unit time based on the rain quantity information from the rain quantity counter 2 and the time information from a timer 4 and sends it to a rain quantity table 5 as the rain quantity information. The information from the rain quantity monitoring function section 6 is stored in a rain quantity information storage function section 6 for a long time. The rain quantity monitoring function section 3 sends the information and the rain quantity data to a transmission control function section 7 based on the hourly rain quantity restriction value sent from the rain quantity table 5 and/or the information on whether the continuous rain quantity restriction value is attained or not. When the continuous rain quantity restriction value or above is attained, the traffic restriction warning and the rain quantity data are automatically transmitted to a control office located at a remote position via a telephone line.
