PURPOSE: To improve the degree of freedom in selecting the terminal performance and size, etc., by a user and its size by allowing a channel CODEC selection switch to select and accept both a signal from a decoder and a signal from a waveform equalizer. ;CONSTITUTION: The received signals are sent from an IF circuit 21 to a phase quantization circuit 23. Then a phase quantization signal is formed. The data of the signal is discriminated 25 and sent through a channel CODEC 26 to a waveform equalizing circuit 30. The demodulation data and clock signals are outputted from a DSP 32 of the waveform equalizing circuit 30 and sent to selection switches 28 and 29 in the channel CODEC. In the selection switches 28 and 29, the signal from a demodulator 22 and the signal from the DSP 32 are selectively connected and sent to a data processing part. The selection switches 27 and 28 select the demodulation data and clock signal from the demodulator 22 and the waveform equalizer 30 by the selection signal from the DSP 32. When the selection signal is 'H', the signal from the demodulator 22 is acceted. When the signal is 'L', the signal from the equalizer 30 is accepted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
