PURPOSE: To effectively carry out the disease and insect pest control and improve the productivity by plucking green tea leaves and simultaneously applying an agent to plucking cut ends. ;CONSTITUTION: This device 1 for plucking green tea leaves is obtained by installing a plucking mechanism 2 having a cutter 5 and a nozzle (7a) of a blower 7 in the front end of a blade 4 and a driving engine 8 in a frame 3, connecting a supporting substrate 11 to the rear end of the blade 4, installing an application mechanism 10 on the undersurface of the supporting substrate 11, dripping an agent from an agent tank on roller brushes 12 and brushes 13, on the other hand, placing a leaf collecting bag 6 on the top surface of the supporting substrate 11, then advancing the device 1 for plucking the green tea leaves along a green tea ridge (T), feeding the green tea leaves (t) plucked with the cutter 5 into the leaf collecting bag 6 with air blown from the nozzle (7a) and apply the agent to plucking cut ends of the green tea plant with the roller brushes 12 and brushes 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
