OUTER CYLINDER SIDE BARREL ROTARY TYPE MELTING FURNACE

PURPOSE: To cut an object to be melted with a low force and under a positive volume manner by a method wherein an outer cylinder is divided into an outer cylinder side barrel part and an outer cylinder bottom part and then the outer cylinder side barrel part is rotatably arranged. ;CONSTITUTION: An outer cylinder 22 is divided into an outer cylinder side barrier part and a lower outer cylinder bottom part 22b. The outer cylinder side barrel part is rotatably arranged around its axis. There is provided a rotary device 33 for rotating the outer cylinder side barrel part. An inner side surface of the outer cylinder side barrel is provided with a supporting plate 32 for supporting an object to be melted 24a. With this constitution, as the outer cylinder side barrel part is rotated by the rotating device 33, only the object 24a placed on the supporting plate 32 is integrally rotated with the outer cylinder side barrel part, and in turn the melted object 24a not supported by the supporting plate 32 is not rotated together with the outer cylinder bottom part 22b and stays at their fixed state. Due to this fact, only the object 24a rotated integrally with the outer cylinder side barrel part is cut by some cutting blades 30 arranged at the inner cylinder 23 toward a main combustion chamber 29, the object 24a placed on the outer cylinder bottom part 22 is not accidentally broken, so that it is possible to keep a positive volume characteristic of supplying amount of the object 24a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
