PURPOSE:To provide an agricultural and horticultural agent for aphids capable of manifesting synergistic effects on control of the aphids. CONSTITUTION:This agricultural and horticultural agent for aphids contains a mixed composition of the first ingredient which is a compound expressed by (E)-beta-farnesene and a controlling agent against aphids such as a pyrethroid agent, an organophosphorus agent or a carbamate agent as the second ingredient.
