PURPOSE: To make freely adjustable the moving of spray blow for the die of a forging press. ;CONSTITUTION: L1 is a distance from the middle fulcrum P of a driving lever 2 having a specified length L to a pressure roller 21 where one end of the lever is abutted on the slide 11 of a forging press 1, and L2 is a distance from the point P to an engaging ring 31 at the other end. L1 and L2 are freely changed by changing the position of the point P. The engaging ring is connected to a link mechanism 5 through a connecting part 4, and the driven lever 51 of the link mechanism is connected to a spray blow device 6. By varying the ratio of L1 to L2, the tilt angle θ1 of the driving lever increases or decreases; by this fluctuation, the tilt angle θ2 of the driven lever is changed; and the stroke S of the blowing nozzle 61 at the tip end of a spray. Thus, at the time of changing a die after the completion of forming for one lot, the function of spray blow is easily adjusted so as to implement the optimum lubrication and cooling.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
