PURPOSE: To constantly observe marine environments. ;CONSTITUTION: A GPS(global positioning system) receiver 3, an observation sensor 5, a telemeter 2, a radio transceiver 4, and a floating buoy 1 having a power source 6 are discharged on the sea. Observation data obtained by the sensor 6 and positional data of the buoy obtained by the receiver 3 are input to the telemeter 2, and transmitted to a base station 7 through the transceiver 4, thereby collecting data of environments, etc., in a wide area of the sea on the ocean.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
