PURPOSE: To provide a seedling-raising bed having good effects such as fixing seeds without being unevenly distributed, improving the germination rate of the seeds, stimulating the germination and rooting of the seeds and the growth of the seedlings, enabling the healthy growth of the cultured plant in a shorter period than in a case using a conventional bed after the plant is set, softening the stem part of the grown plant to increase the elasticity of the plant, and facilitating works on the harvest, packaging and shipment of the plant. ;CONSTITUTION: A seedling-raising bed produced by fixing the compression product of calcined verminulite to a plant-setting panel for hydroponic culture, or a seedling-raising bed produced by charging the calcined vermiculite in plant holder for the hydroponic culture and subsequently fixing the charging plant holder to a plant-setting panel for the hydroponic culture is used as a seedling-raising bed used in the hydraponic culture of the plant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
