PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of blister, at burning of porcelain enamel, caused by powder inclusion at the time of continuous casting by specifying a composition and incorporating trace amounts of Sn. ;CONSTITUTION: This steel material has a composition consisting of, by weight ratio, ≤0.005% C, 0.15-0.65% Mn, 0.004-0.025% P, 0.005-O.025% S, 0.005-O.05% Cu, ≤0.005% N, 0.02-0.065% O, 0.0005-0.01% Sn, further 0.004-O.07% V and/or 0.004-0.04% Nb, and the balance essentially Fe with inevitable impurities. Although this steel material can be produced under the ordinary system, it is desirable that, in order to improve the workability, the steel, after steelmaking decarburization and denitrization, is subjected, after hot rolling or cold rolling, further to decarburizing and denitriding annealing. Moreover, it is preferable to regulate hot rolling finishing temp. to a value not lower than the Ar3 transformation point and also to regulate coiling temp. to 500-750°C by considering fishscale resistance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
