METHOD FOR RECOVERING DROSS OF HOT DIP METAL COATING BATH AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To provide a method and device for separating and recovering the dross of a plating bath. ;CONSTITUTION: This device has a housing container 23 for molten zinc having a riser 21a by a gas lift pump 21 for lifting molten zinc 9a and a downcomer 22 for refluenting the molten zinc to the hot dip metal coating bath 9, a dross recovering container 25 of a network structure which is removably arranged in this housing container 23 and has a filter 24 in the bottom and a means 26 for reducing the pressure in this housing container 23. The top end of the riser 21a is installed in a position higher than the top end of the downcomer 22 and a perforated plate 27 for producing air bubbles is installed below the filter 24. The caption number 28 denotes a pipe for supplying gaseous N₂ to the perforated plate 27 for producing air bubbles. The caption number 30 is a flow rate control valve. The sepn. and recovery of the dross of the hot dip metal coating bath are executed while the clogging of the filter is prevented and, therefore, the quality is improved and the smooth continuous operation is secured.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
