DUBBING SYSTEM FOR VIDEO SIGNAL, REPRODUCING DEVICE AND RECORDING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THEM

PURPOSE: To implement dubbing processing for a video signal without deteriorating picture quality. ;CONSTITUTION: A magnetic head 11 of the reproducing device being a component of the dubbing system reads a video signal recorded on a video tape 10, and a luminance signal is subject to processing such as FM demodulation and the resulting signal is given to a synchronizing separator circuit 18 and a slice circuit 30. The synchronizing separator circuit 18 extracts a synchronizing signal C.sync given to an output terminal 5. The slice circuit 30 eliminates the synchronizing signal from the luminance signal Y and the result is given to an output terminal 5. The synchronizing signal C.sync is added to the luminance signal Y at the recorder side of the dubbing system and the result is recorded on the video tape together with the chroma signal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
