PURPOSE: To provide a rope tightening device of which the operation is easy, by which the tension level of a pair of rope ends can be easily recognized by the resisting feeling of the operation, and which can allow a considerably large tightening quantity. ;CONSTITUTION: Tension is imparted to a pair of rope ends 11A, 11B by energizing the pair of rope ends 11A, 11B inward. The rope tightening device is equipped with a constraining means 12 which constrains a rope extended from the other side, at one side where overlapped parts are pinched, a take-up means 13 which can wind up the rope extended from one side, under a condition in which the rope is allowed to rotate in one direction, and a lever means 14 to impart a torque to tape up the rope to the take-up means 13, under a condition in which the rope is allowed to rotate 10 one direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
