PURPOSE:To accurately detect the individual tension of the right and left sheets on a half-split sheet winding line. CONSTITUTION:In this tension control device for an in-line double winding machine splitting a belt-like body into two in the width direction on a molding/ winding line of the belt-like body such as a plastic film or a sheet and winding the split belt-like bodies 1a, 1b to the right and left respectively, tension sensors 5a, 5b detecting the tension of both belt-like bodies 1a, 1b via one tension roll 2 wound with both split belt-like bodies 1a, 1b are arranged near the center in the width direction of the split belt-like bodies 1a, b respectively.
